sorry i forgot to say the date... The approval was on April 27th, and today May 05th I haven't got either the letter or the card.
Do they come together or there is something wrong for the fact not even my approval letter have came yet?

I am currently on EAD and used AC 21. Just in case if I suspect that there might be some issue during final I 485 approval, can I have my company apply for my H1 transfer before I 485 is approved?
If I do so, what will be the status of the I 485 application after H1B transfer?
This is a bit confusing question to answer but if I apply for my H1B transfer now, what will be its validity date?

I thought if you invoked your AC21 - you hopped on to the pending-immigrant boat leaving the non-immigrant boat altogether ... and that boat is now gone ...
To get back to a non-immigrant boat .. you may have to get a new one ... but in that case you'll have to show your intent of non-permanent stay in the US ... which your 485 would contradict anyways ...
A better option would be to have your legs in both the boats for as long as possible - i.e. transfer your H1 (and not get on to your EAD) while your 485 is still pending.
I may be wrong .. but this is how i perceive it

EAD/AP is personal choice. Employer can only govern what he has under his control - which is LC and I-140. He cannot chose to not allow EAD or AP, and you are not obliged to inform him. Good employers sponsor everything and the rest dont. But legally (i am not a lawyer though), they cannot do anything with you if you apply for EAD and keep it as a backup. Yes, if you chose to use your EAD to do extra work in addition to your employer's it may come against company policy. But if you intend to just keep it as a backup, there is nothing wrong..
Go to USCIS efile website and file it on your own (EAD and AP).

Such are the erratic ways of USCIS that we are all in the paranoid zone. When you get the unexpected (i.e. paper mail and no online approval) it does make us wonder and asntonished. There is an old Turkish proverb "When you burn your lips drinking hot milk you start blowing on your yogurt"

I haven't yet printed out the form, however, the following page should help you. It is my understanding that you would be able to save the form locally in a format that can be opened only through the Department of State's website. Once you have completed the form, you would be able to print it out. Please check this site for further queries:

She will be going to full time dental school, and this course does not have credit system and it is flat 2 year course.
and for this course there is not in-state fee, fee is same for either for in-state resident or student coming from outsidde, this couse is specially desinged for internation trained dentist.
and mai reason is I want to change her status on F1 is , if by any reason if I am out of H1B she will be NOT effected and as well she will be eligible for part time work also and more important she will get 1 yr opt option at the end of course.

Receipt numbers are worthless in my case. My application is pending in the local service center and i see the status message from Aug 2004. After that I was scheduled an interview, I did FP, I attended an interview, got stuck in the stupid name check, took 2-3 INFOPASS appointments.

This is the first time i have applied for my I-485 and i am on H1b befor this and my record is very very clean...
Coming to the address on my I-485 i called up USCIS and also went fr an INFOPASS appointmentt and i was told that the address i told matched with theirs on the file...when i asked for a second copy to be sent they said that it will take 30-45 days for me to receive it...i am really worried..
Since the USCIS case status said "We mailed you a decision on 29'th NOV " and it is not 30 days wil it still be considered abandenonment denial??
Does any of you know whether my dependents need to sign the Appeal/motion to reopen or my attorney can file on their behalf??

The abandenonment denial happens when you don't reply a RFE or Intent to deny before a dead line mentioned in the RFE or intent to deny. It doesn't apply to a final dinial decision which is what you would have got, because (they) got denied as YOURS was denied.
Have you check if your atterney's address on your 485 is correct? When you have an atterney, the decision will be sent to your atterney, not you. If the address of your atterney is incorrect, he wouldn't get it.
You have to get your case reopened in oreder to get your family's reopened. If your's got dinied, theirs have no ground to get reconsidered.

H1 renewal i can understand but you need not apply for h4 renewal if your wife is working on EAD. Because if she wants to come back on h4, she always can and does not need h4 to be renewed now.
did you check with your attorney, if she absolutely has to do h4 renewal.

Good idea Lecter. A bit like remembering to tell your wife how she looks (caution advised) I have no problem with posting comments. I absolutely love to stare at the beautiful images on this site. From my novice perspective, they are just about all in the impressive to brilliant range. I get a lot of inspiration & ideas from you guys. The webmasters stunning sports & concert photography. Paul Popes absolutely knock out, whatever he does stuff. Don & Pressmans outstanding digital darkroom magic (Pressmans Exmoor phots are out of this world) Lecters I WANT TO BE THERE RIGHT NOW! phots. Bob Gleasons super sports images & across the board versatility. I particularly take note of Bobs stuff because I know he hasn't been shooting that long, so his learning curve has been pretty meteoric.

I am not saying everything is great or I read every line of what he post....but there are at some articles from "Yanks are Coming" related to health care passage, wall street..you get some useful info in them..i am not here to argue with anyone..i just posted my thought...
No, I was not arguing with you either. I suppor the idea that any person could post any article in this forum (except posts that are clearly countering/damaging our agenda). These certainly could be very useful for lot of people who are "actually wise" unlike those like me who want everything simplified. The articles to me were very detailed and "long" and I clearly lack the ability to read complicated material for long:o:o. That is what prevented me from reading them.
